Chorus is a private family archive operated by Spaceship Earth LLC. Families send photos, videos, voice memos and notes about a child to a phone number, and Chorus keeps them privately for that family. This page explains what we hold and what we will not do with it.
We do not sell your information, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and the contents of messages sent to Chorus are never shared with anyone outside your family, except for the service providers named below who are required to process them so the product works at all.
To keep the archive, to attribute each item to whoever sent it, to write the weekly chapter, and to email that chapter to people the family has approved. That is the whole list.
We do not use your family's content to train AI models, our own or anyone else's. Text is sent to Anthropic's API to compose the weekly chapter and is not retained by us for training or used to improve any model.
Chorus only replies to people who message it first. It does not send unsolicited, scheduled or promotional text messages. The first time you text a child's Chorus number you will get one confirmation reply; after that Chorus stays silent unless you write again.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving replies, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
These providers process data on our instructions so the service can function. None of them are given your information for their own marketing.
Originals are kept at full quality and are not recompressed. The archive is meant to last, so we keep what you send for as long as the family has an account.
You can ask for a complete copy of your archive in open formats, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@tellchorus.com from the address on the account. Deletion removes the media and the records; backups age out afterwards.
A Chorus account belongs to an adult. Children do not create accounts or sign in, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from a child. The material in an archive is abouta child, and it is supplied by the adults in that child's family, who are responsible for what they choose to send.
Data is encrypted in transit. Media is held in private storage that is never publicly readable, and every request for a file is checked against the signed-in account before a short-lived link is issued. Sign-in uses one-time email links rather than passwords.
